Since 2008, a volunteer committee has coordinated this event which provides fellowship and a festive luncheon for residents who may be isolated or experiencing financial hardship at Christmas.
Numbers have risen steadily each year with 2019 accommodating almost 500 guests with the help of over 100 volunteers displaying the need for such an event within the City of Joondalup.
The afternoon consists of providing a sit down luncheon in a wonderfully decorated atmosphere representing the Christmas spirit. Live entertainment ensures guests are entertained and adds to the festive occasion.
